There were times, when I thought you were a belt slinging lunatic
hell bent on my demise,
Now as a man, I thank you for the discipline with out compromise,

When I was kid, I thought
"when I get a little bigger, a little stronger,
no one could tell me what to do.
But that was just my imagination,
I'm grown now and I am still afraid of you.

I am so very grateful dad for all you've done and I'd just like to say,
have a happy and well earned fathers day.
And by the way,
 
I probably deserved all of those beatings,
but I've seen less intensity from a lion pouncing on prey.
